Located right in the middle of Kampala City, Valid Electronics started its operations in 2004 with a small clientele selling mobile phones and accessories.

Now with two branches, one located on Shoppers Mall shop number F1 along Wilson Road and the other located in the New Taxi Park shop number L64.

In 2004, research revealed that 75% of Ugandans had lost confidence in most of the electronics dealers in and around town mainly because of two reasons:

Most of the shops were not willing to give warranty for their goods since most of them were fake and therefore not worth the money being paid.
The retailers usually took advantage of their customers ignorance and sold them goods at exobriant prices to the extent that most goods were viewed as a luxury and not a necessity.
